The year 5/6 girls football team started really well as they competed against seven other schools in the Stoke area competition on Monday. Although the girls had not practiced as some of the other teams and had some girls missing they competed really well all day. For around 3 hours of playing time they were fantastic and deserved a lot more than they got. After seven fixtures the girls had won one, drew two and lost three games. In between all this there was a brilliant strike from Chelsea off the top of the bar and in. with a little bit of practice the girls will compete this year and compete well.
