Year 1 have lots of news to share!
Bubz the bunny came in during the first week to visit year 1 to introduce their new book focus in English, Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter. The children asked Miss Bateman lots of questions about rabbits and used the answers to write a non-fiction piece all about rabbits.
The children have heard a breaking news story that a new creature has been discovered in the grounds at Belgrave St Bartholomew's Academy. They used the description of 'The Bog Baby' to search for it in the playground, where many children thought they had spotted the small, blue creature. After this, the children made their very own bog babies using clay.
