The children from year 4 went to compete in a Premier Sport competition at Fenton Manor in the morning and performed superbly well. In the group stages the children were unbeaten bar one game out of the nine they played.
Two of Belgrave teams progressed through to the quarter finals where one team lost and the other made it through to the semi finals after a superb individual performance from Aahil. The other team went through to play five fixtures all of which they won.
In the finals Belgrave played a best of five matches to see who would be champions. At this stage the games were really close and at two all the last game was the decider.
Unfortunately Belgrave lost the last one which meant they came in second, but it must be said that all the children were brilliant throughout the morning. Well done to all of the children.
