We are pleased to announce that we have achieved the School Games Silver Award for 2021-22. This is a national award for the work we have done to encourage children to live more active lives.
We are really delighted and proud of the hard work all of our team put in to giving children lots of opportunities to participate in sports and physical activity last year.
We held our own Commonwealth Games, invited GB athletes to school, took part in many inter-sports competitions across the local area and our dancers represented the school on stage for a city-wide dance festival. We also had an amazing Sports Day in which we were able to invite parents to come along and support their children for the first time since lockdown.
