LOCAL LIBRARY VISITS

October 06, 2023

At Belgrave, we love to read. We read in school, we read at home and we also love to read at our local library too!

This half term, all of our main school children (Nursery to Year 6) will be visiting Longton Library for a story and activity session. Children will become library members (with their own library card) and they are encouraged to visit the library with their families to borrow more books for free!

Children love listening to the library staff reading stories to them and there are so many books to choose from, there is always something new to keep them excited about reading. As the children get the chance to explore the children’s section of the library, their excitement is obvious.

“I love it here. There are so many books, I just can’t choose!”

Reading for Pleasure is so important for children (and adults!) and we are lucky to have such a fantastic facility so close to our school and our children’s homes too.

Please take advantage of Longton Library and all that it offers for FREE for everyone!
